Richard S. James Memorial Scholarship

The Richard S. James Memorial Scholarship was established to provide support for a qualified full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Musical Arts.

Criteria:
Be a rising junior, senior or graduate student in the College of Musical Arts;
Be working toward a major, or demonstrate a strong interest, in Music History, World Music or Ethnomusicology;
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 if a rising junior or senior or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 if a graduate student;
Demonstrate superior skill in written communication, as evidenced by a writing sample (i.e course paper, term paper, thesis chapter).
