Dean L. Shappell Earth Science Scholarship

Scholarship recognizes students in the College of Education and Human Development majoring in science and intending to become licensed earth science teachers in Ohio.

Eligibility: Resident of Ohio.

Criteria: Student must major in earth science in the College of Education and Human Development; maintain a 3.5 GPA in major coursework; demonstrate financial need ; intend to become an Ohio licensed science teacher, grades 7-12 (AYA Licensure); demonstrate a passion in and commitment to science education through an essay.
