The Dr. Thomas Kinstle and Student Excellence in Academics Scholarship

Scholarship recognizes a Chemistry student within the College of Arts and Sciences and was created to honor Dr. Thomas Kinstle, a former professor within the Department of Chemistry who made an impact on students and faculty alike, which will be felt for years to come.

To be eligible for the Dr. Thomas Kinstle and Student Excellence in Academics Scholarship Fund applicants:
- May be any undergraduate grade level; and
- Must demonstrate high academic achievement:
- Preference will be given to applicants with the highest cumulative GPA in their college coursework.
- Cumulative High School GPA will be used for incoming freshmen applicants only;
- Must be in good academic standing;
- Must have a declared major in Chemistry; and
- Demonstrate financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA and/or in accordance with guidelines established by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
