Otis & Lois Sonnenberg Vocal Music Education Scholarship

The Otis & Lois Sonnenberg Vocal Music Education Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to a Vocal Music Education student.

Criteria:
Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior in the College of Musical Arts;
Must be majoring in Vocal Music Education;
Must demonstrate financial need as evidenced by FAFSA;
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, with preference given to individuals possessing a 3.5 GPA or higher;
Must demonstrate leadership qualities, as evidence by community service and/or student activity involvement;
Preference shall be given to first generation college students.
A written essay of at least 300 words must be submitted on the topic of “Major Influences on My Future in Music Education”.
