James F. & Kathryn J. O'Brien Scholarship

Scholarship is to establish an endowment to be known as the James F. and Kathryn J. O’Brien Book Award to award scholarship to an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Education & Human Development.

Eligibility: Undergraduate student.

Criteria: Undergraduate student enrolled in College of Education & Human Development – including incoming freshman.
Financial need.
Preference given to graduates of following high schools:
a. Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio.
b. Other high school(s) in Oregon, Ohio public school system.
Involvement in extracurricular activities.
Must have 3.5 high school GPA or 3.0 college GPA.
Renewable as long as current or past recipients submit another request and continue to meet criteria.
