Karl and Joan Vogt Leadership Scholarship in Economics

The Karl and Joan Vogt Leadership Scholarship in Economics fund was established by the Economics Department to accept gifts and donations to enhance the mission of the Economics program in the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business, in honor of Dr. Karl Vogt’s leadership and success he exemplified while serving in various capacities during his university career at Bowling Green State University. The fund is intended to support students who have taken on leadership roles, extracurricular activities and have shown scholarly achievement.

Currently be a junior or rising senior;
Demonstrated leadership roles in extracurricular activities as determined by the committee;
Demonstrated scholarly achievement by maintaining a 3.0 GPA or above;
Be registered at least part-time in any Economics major.
