Mearl and Lolita Guthrie Business & Marketing Education Scholarship
The Mearl and Lolita Guthrie Scholarship was established in 1992 for the purpose of supporting students majoring in business teacher education, which is now known as Business & Marketing Education.
Eligibility:
Be full-time students;
Be specializing in Business & Marketing Education;
Demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5;
Demonstrate financial need; and
Be pursuing licensure to become a teacher:
– First preference should be given to students who demonstrate a desire to teach consumer economics courses;
– Second preference should be given to students who demonstrate a desire to teach business courses.
Renewable to previous recipients, provided they remain eligible.
