Pepple Scholarship in Forensic Science

The Pepple Scholarship in Forensic Science was created by the Honorable Frederick D. Pepple to support the developing Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) experience at the University. The Scholarship is intended to support students and promote the growth of the forensic community through the education of both current and prospective forensic professionals. It is the goal of the donor that students benefit from this Scholarship, and that BCI and the law enforcement agencies benefit from qualified entry-level students being available in the areas of emerging science and technology that they need to fulfill their mission to protect and to serve.

Criteria: Demonstrate scholastic achievement with a minimum 3.3 GPA;
Be a rising junior or senior, or graduate student; and
Be majoring in a forensic science-related field or working toward a graduate degree in a forensic science-related field, either of which is aligned with the BCI experience.
Preference should be given to the candidates who demonstrate an understanding of the role hands-on experience, the integration of disciplines, and the advancement in research and emerging technologies should play in forensic education.
