Mark Gillfillan Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship established to honor Mark Gillfillan, who was a student at BGSU until he passed away on July 1, 2009. Mark wanted to the improve the lives of kids and lived by Ghandi’s quote: Be the change you wish to be in the world."

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Full-time student
Rising junior or senior
Enrolled in teacher education program
Minimum GPA of 2.8
Financial need
Have record of some type of work history
Preference given to student who has graduated from Riverdale High School, OH or Woodward High School, Toledo, Ohio, and/or is enrolled in PCC/ECCO learning community, or a member of Greek community.
