Mae W. Casey Scholarship in Creative Writing

Scholarship was established by Dr. Beth A. Casey, to honor her mother Mae W. Casey, and to further support student achievement in literature.

Criteria:
Rising senior completing their junior year;
Minimum GPA of 3.5;
Describe career objectives and aspirations and how they relate to chosen major; and
Must submit a portfolio of creative work. The portfolio may include work crafted for English courses. Portfolio should consist of a minimum of five (5) pages of poetry OR ten (10) page of prose OR eight (8) page of poetry and prose in combination.

Previous recipients may be awarded the scholarship in consecutive years as long as a new application is submitted.
