Strength in Sisterhood Scholarship

The Strength in Sisterhood Scholarship was established to recognize Rebekah Blakkolb, Christina Goyett and Sarah Hammond, students at Bowling Green State University who were killed in a tragic traffic accident on March 2, 2012. All three were students in the College of Education and Human Development and members of Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity. The Scholarship also recognizes Kayla Somoles and Angelica J. Mormile who were critically injured in the accident.

Eligibility:
Be a member of Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity at BGSU;
Full time student making satisfactory progress to an undergraduate degree;
Earn a 3.2 GPA or better; and
Demonstrate commitment to the ideals of Alpha Xi Delta, which includes sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service to communities.

Preference will be given to rising juniors in the Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity.
