Shawn R. Potter Cancer Scholarship

Scholarship to honor current BGSU students who have either battled or are currently battling cancer.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Undergraduate student.
In good standing.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Preferred candidates must be a cancer survivor or someone currently battling cancer.
Must complete essay on “How cancer has shaped their life and the people around them.”
May provide statement of confirmation of cancer from their oncologist, if applicant is willing to do so.
If no eligible candidates exist, Scholarship can be awarded to a student whose parents or siblings have battled cancer.
