Dr. Paul Makara Scholarship

Scholarship recognizes student excellence in violin performance and to enhance the academic mission of the College of Musical Arts.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Citizen of United States.
Returning full-time student, currently enrolled.
Rising sophomore, junior or senior
3.0 GPA or higher
Major in violin performance
Present a very good to excellent audition that includes at least two of the following components:
– a movement of unaccompanied Bach
– a movement of a classical or romantic concerto
– a short piece of the candidate’s choice
