The Robert and Ellen Thompson Military Scholarship

The Thompson Military Scholarship Program was established to provide financial assistance to honorably discharged veterans and drilling reservists of the US military and members of the National Guard, who have a need for additional educational benefits.

Eligibility:
Must be an honorably discharged veteran or drilling reservist of the US military or a member of the National Guard;
Must demonstrate financial need thru the submission of FAFSA;
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50;
Must have achieved a minimum of junior standing (60 credit hours or more);
Must be willing to complete 10 per semester work/service component;
Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours or more per semester).

The scholarship amount will be $2,250 per semester. The scholarship can be renewed for an additional academic year as long as the recipient maintains a 2.50 cumulative GPA, completes at least 15 credit hour per academic year, completes a work/service component of 10 hours per semester, maintains satisfactory academic progress and meets with the Thompson program coordinator a minimum of twice each semester.
