Fred Deering Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship recognizes student achievement and to enhance the academic mission of Firelands College.

Eligibility: Junior class standing or higher.

Selection Criteria: Maintain a minimum or 3.0 GPA; demonstrate financial need; be actively engaged in community service. Preference will be given to students who intend to pursue public service after graduation, either as a career or volunteer activity.
Selection is made by the BGSU Firelands Scholarship Selection Committee.
